Happy New Year

We wish you all a wonderful time in 2012.
Already this year we have brought out our January and February Beads of the Month, there are more project instructions for you to download, and we are proud to be the only UK supplier so far of the latest bead sensation - TWIN beads by Preciosa Ornela.  These much awaited beads offer lots of new ideas for lace and sculptural jewellery projects and we have lots of free downloads available to help you get the hang of them.
We expect more colours this month as they have been delayed by the manufacturer, and if we can get our hands on more of them sooner - we will!

November Beads of the Month

The November Beads of the Month are now available.

Can you guess the theme running through our November projects?   'Autumn Blaze' Necklace; 'Hotaka' Necklace; 'Orange Magnolia' Bracelet...First to guess it right wins £5 OFF your next Bead of the Month!

Send your guesses via BLOG, Facebook - Westcoast Jewellery - or email...

Three New Bead Collections

We have added three new themes to our bead collections.

'Mycenae' is a subtle mix of old golds and browns and includes instructions for a necklace which incorporates stringing, basic chainmaille and bead weaving.

'Riviera' is made up of delicate shades of pink and blue, with the luxury of Murano Glass and Swarovski.  The necklace idea incorporates Swarovski links for even more sparkle.

'Siren' is a bold mix inspired by the Hollywood icons of the 30's and 40's with an Art Deco-inspired bracelet project.

September Beads of the Month

TheSeptember Beads of the Monthare online now.

The beautiful, natural greens and purples found in Rainbow Flourite have influenced this English Lavender theme for September.  Yes I know most of the Lavender we get comes from France, but the colours sang out 'Jane Austen' to me.  The stringing necklace and bracelet project is something I would imagine a modern-day Austen heroine would wear (made by herself of course), hence it has been given the title 'Elizabeth'.

So my question to you now is - what do you think Elizabeth Bennet would make / wear?

New Bead Collections

New Bead Collections

Our Nostalgia Bead Collection is now back in stock.

We have also introduced a new one - 'Into the Deep', which ia a lovely cobalt collection.  This time we have included a project which is the 'Into the Deep' Necklace you can see pictured on the website.  This uses some of the beads from the collection (all you need is black Nymo and a clasp).  Once you get this or any of our future Collections with projects inside, the project is an option.  If the beads 'speak' to you in a different way then go ahead and let them!

We love your comments...

We have had some great comments as a result of our Competition which started earlier this week - see our home page for full details... We have also had some very constructive suggestions, one being the length of time the Beads of the Month are available for.  As a result we have made this month's selection available a week earlier than usual and our stock levels are increasing to ensure they last to the end of their month.  Unfortunately, some of the beads we use in the packs are of limited supply so we cannot continue to produce individual packs indefinately, and of course if you like a particular strand of beads in a pack you can email or phone us to see if there are any extra strands if you want to get more.
